Over the last couple of weeks at some of our classes we’ve been exploring Circles – printing, puppet making, circle collages and lots more! One of our favourite activities has been bouncy ball painting – always a big hit!
Bouncy ball painting is a super simple activity to try at home with your own little artists. You just need a rimmed tray, some bouncy balls, paper and paint! Pop the paper on the tray, dip the balls in the paint, place the balls on the paper and get started! Get your little one to tip and move the tray to roll the balls across the paper and watch some fab patterns emerge!
Great for developing fine and gross motor skills, coordination, learning about cause and effect, colour mixing – and tons of fun too!… try using different size balls or textured balls – tumble dryer balls make some great patterns!
